Founded by Larry Dienatsl in 1983 with a couple of sewing machines in a Durham, North Carolina garage, Party Tables has grown into a beloved go-to brand across the southeast, offering the finest linens, draperies, along with superior customer service.

We’re there onsite to ensure every single thing is right so when your guests walk into your event, they feel transformed. And we’re not just linens anymore. We take a space and literally transform it. While our industry has changed a lot over the years, the details and a highly experienced team dedicated to coordinating each event is what continues to set us apart.”
Over its 40-plus year history, from its corporate headquarters in Durham, N.C., Party Tables has expanded and evolved to include satellite offices and warehouses in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Washington D.C. and Hollywood, Florida. Each of the over 350 fabrics in its extensive offering of linens, napkins, event drapery and ceiling treatments has undergone extensive shrink-tests and test-washes to guarantee long-lasting superior quality for clients. With an onsite laundry department operated by fulltime staffers using industrial washers, dryers, irons and drapery presses, Party Tables ensures that every piece of fabric leaving one of its facilities is in premium condition.
“Creating a concept or a look that is perfect for each client is a job we take very seriously,” says Party Tables Sales and Marketing Director Sanders Hulsey. “Because we’re onsite for days doing set-up, we have a chance to bond with the clients. We get to know and care about the people we’re creating experiences for. For me, it’s about that moment when a client walks into the room and seeing the joy on their faces knowing we’ve exceeded their expectations.”
For owner Shawn Watson, who began his career at Party Tables over 30 years ago as a weekend staffer working his way through school at the University of North Carolina, the key to success remains the same. “Each day when we come to work, we’re helping to create a great time for guests, something that’s going to be a memorable moment in their lives,” says Watson. “Delivering quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction is our passion. If you have a smile on your face as you greet your guests, we know we’ve done our job.”
